PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rader device and a vehicle speed correction method that can appropriately correct detected own vehicle speed detected on the basis of rotation of a wheel.SOLUTION: A rader device comprises: a detected own vehicle speed acquisition unit; a relative speed calculation unit; a correction value calculation unit; and an own vehicle speed correction unit. The detected own vehicle speed acquisition unit acquires a detected own vehicle speed detected on the basis of rotation of a wheel. The relative speed calculation unit calculates a relative speed of a stationary object on the basis of a frequency of a reflection wave obtained by reflecting a transmission wave on a target in an FM-CW mode to transmit a frequency modulated transmission wave to the target and a CW mode to transmit a non-frequency modulated transmission wave respectively. The correction value calculation unit calculates a first correction value on the basis of the relative speed of the stationary object and the detected own vehicle speed at the CW mode time and calculates a second correction value on the basis of the relative speed of the stationary object and the detected own vehicle speed at the FM-CW mode time. The own vehicle speed correction unit corrects the detected own vehicle speed using at least either of the first correction value and the second correction value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】車輪の回転に基づいて検出される検出自車速を適切に補正することができるレーダ装置および車速補正方法を提供する。【解決手段】レーダ装置は、検出自車速取得部と、相対速度算出部と、補正値算出部と、自車速補正部とを備える。検出自車速取得部は、車輪の回転に基づいて検出される検出自車速を取得する。相対速度算出部は、周波数変調をかけた送信波を物標へ送信するFM−CWモードと、周波数変調をかけない送信波を物標へ送信するCWモードとにおいてそれぞれ、送信波が物標に反射して得られる反射波の周波数に基づいて静止物の相対速度を算出する。補正値算出部は、CWモード時の静止物の相対速度と検出自車速とに基づいて第1補正値を算出するとともに、FM−CWモード時の静止物の相対速度と検出自車速とに基づいて第2補正値を算出する。自車速補正部は、第1補正値および第2補正値の少なくともいずれかを用いて検出自車速を補正する。【選択図】図1
