PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a booster which facilitates positioning in a circumferential direction of a shell.SOLUTION: A booster 1 comprises: a housing 2 whose inside is divided into a front chamber A and a rear chamber B by a front shell 3, a rear shell 4 and a center shell 5 and which is partitioned into constant pressure chambers A1, B1 and variable pressure chambers A2, B2 by power pistons 6, 7 being disposed at respective front and rear chambers A, B; a rod member 24 which penetrates the housing 2 and fixes a master cylinder on one end side and is connected to a vehicle on the other end side; and a tubular member 30 which is fixed to the center shell 5 and is in communication with the variable pressure chamber A2 of the front chamber A and the variable pressure chamber B2 of the rear chamber B and into which the rod member 24 is inserted. In the center shell 5, a protrusion piece part 5D which protrudes to the radial outside of the center shell 5 is formed on a part of its outer peripheral edge. In the rear shell 4, an axial groove 4D to which the protrusion piece part 5D is fitted by opening toward the axial direction front is formed on a part of its outer peripheral edge.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】シェルの周方向に対する位置決めを容易にした倍力装置を提供する。【解決手段】倍力装置1は、フロントシェル3、リヤシェル4、およびセンタシェル5により内部が前室Aと後室Bとに画成され、該前室Aおよび後室Bのそれぞれにパワーピストン6,7が配置されて定圧室A1,B1と変圧室A2,B2とに区画されるハウジング2と、ハウジング2を貫通し、一端側でマスタシリンダを固定し、他端側で車両に接続するロッド部材24と、センタシェル5に固定され、前室Aの変圧室A2と後室Bの変圧室B2とを連通し、ロッド部材24が挿通する筒状部材30とを備えている。センタシェル5には、その外周縁の一部に該センタシェル5の径方向外側に突出する突出片部5Dが形成され、リヤシェル4には、その外周縁の一部に軸方向前方に開口して突出片部5Dが嵌合する軸方向溝4Dが形成される。【選択図】図1
