PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a rubber composition for a high grip tire tread, combining wet grip performance with dry grip performance; a tire tread using the rubber composition partly; and a pneumatic tire for racing.SOLUTION: The rubber composition for a high grip tire tread is provided that contains a farnesene polymer (B) by 0.1 to 90 pts.mass and a filler (C) by 20 to 150 pts.mass per 100 pts.mass of a rubber component (A) containing a styrene butadiene rubber having a styrene content of 20 mass% or more by 60 mass% or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None
