PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle driving assisting system capable of reducing a calculation load of travel route calculation in a route search using a plurality of grid points.SOLUTION: A vehicle driving assisting system 100 includes: a travelling road information acquisition part 11 for acquiring travelling road information on a travelling road 5 of a vehicle 1; a grid region setting part 12 for setting a grid region 40 consisting of a plurality of grid points 44 on the travelling road 5 based on the travelling road information; a travelling route candidate calculation part 13 for calculating a plurality of travelling route candidates by the route search using the plurality of grid points 44 in the grid region 40; and a target travelling route calculation part 14 for selecting one travelling route candidate as a target travelling route based on a predetermined condition from the plurality of travelling route candidates. The grid region setting part 12 sets the plurality of grid points 44 in the grid region 40 based on motion characteristics of the vehicle 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
