The moving body detection device 100 divides the first region into a plurality of second regions. The moving body detection device 100 determines, based on the ratio of luminance values amongst the image frames corresponding to each of the second regions, such a plurality of second regions in which the ratio of luminance values becomes a reciprocal relationship, as the shadow region.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
