PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seating sensor that improves accuracy in determining whether a seat in a vehicle is occupied or not.SOLUTION: A seating sensor comprises: a first sensor group 25 having a plurality of first sensor cells 26F, 26C, 26R provided in parallel in forward and backward directions of a seat 11C and made conductive by application of load thereto; and a second sensor group 27 having a plurality of second sensor cells 28F, 28C, 28R provided further forward on the seat 11C than the first sensor group 25 and in parallel in forward and backward directions at a widthwise end-part side, and made conductive by application of load thereto. When at least one of the plurality of first sensor cells 26F, 26C, 26R is made conductive and at least one of the plurality of second sensor cells 28F, 28C, 28R is made conductive, it is determined that the seat 11C is occupied.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
