PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency of a maintenance inspection work by obtaining highly accurate positional information of an elevator for a customer without increasing a work burden of a maintenance worker.SOLUTION: An elevator system includes a positional information calculation part 213 receiving a navigation signal from a navigation satellite and calculating received positional information of a portable terminal 200 by using the navigation signal, an accuracy calculating part 214 calculating accuracy information showing the accuracy of the positional information by using the navigation signal used in calculating the positional information, a positional information determination part 215 determining positional information having the highest accuracy during a maintenance inspection period as best positional information during the period of an elevator by using the positional information and the accuracy information that are calculated by a maintenance worker carrying the portable terminal 200 during the maintenance inspection period, and a positional information management part determining and managing best positional information during the period having the highest accuracy among best positional information during the period as best positional information of the elevator.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
