PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce residual abnormal sound when applying an active type noise reduction device to an in-cabin environment where audio signals are reproduced.SOLUTION: An active type noise reduction device includes a standard signal producing part, an adaptive filter part, a control sound output part, and an error signal detection part. An adaptive filter includes a reference signal producing part 303 producing a reference signal on the basis of a standard signal input into the adaptive filter, generates a control signal by multiplying the standard signal by a filter coefficient, updates the filter coefficient on the basis of the reference signal and an error signal so that the error signal becomes minimum, sets a step size parameter showing the update amount of the filter coefficient, and sets a step size adjustment factor for adjusting the step size parameter on the basis of an audio information feature amount and change of the control signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
