PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly safe and convenient yarding mechanism which can be more easily operated.SOLUTION: A yarding mechanism 1 is provided with: a main rope 5 that is bridged between a source column 2 and a destination column 3; a carriage 7 that is attached to the main rope 5 so as to travel; a hauling rope 11 that is bridged between the source column 2 and the carriage 7; a hauling hoist 12 that can deliver and wind the hauling rope 11; a hauling transmitter/receiver 13 that receives an operation command of the hauling hoist 12 and transmits the operation state of the hauling hoist 12; a pulling-back rope 15 that is bridged between the destination column 3 and the carriage 7; a pulling-back hoist 16 that can deliver and wind the pulling-back rope 15; a pulling-back transmitter/receiver 17 that receives an operation command of the pulling-back hoist 16 and transmits the operation state of the pulling-back hoist 16; and a remote-control device 31 that transmits and receives the operation commands and the operation states between the hauling transmitter/receiver 13 and the pulling-back transmitter/receiver 17.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
