PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric brake device which can favorably maintain a lubrication state of a screw mechanism.SOLUTION: An electric brake device comprises: "a piston for pressing a friction member to a rotating member, and having a piston internal peripheral face at an internal peripheral face"; "a shaft which is rotationally driven by an electric motor, has a shaft external peripheral face overlapping on a piston internal peripheral face in an axial direction at an external peripheral face, and has a shaft internal peripheral face at an internal peripheral face"; "a screw mechanism which converts a rotation motion of the shaft to a linear motion of the piston, and is arranged inside the shaft internal peripheral face"; "a cap which has an external peripheral seal slide-contacting with the piston internal peripheral face at an external peripheral face, and an internal peripheral seal slide-contacting with a shaft external peripheral face at an internal peripheral face, and is movable to an axial direction"; and "a storage chamber which is partitioned by the cap, one end of the screw mechanism, the piston internal peripheral face and the shaft external peripheral face, and in which a lubricant for lubricating the screw mechanism is stored". Then, the external peripheral seal and the internal peripheral seal are separated from each other by a prescribed distance in the axial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】 電動制動装置において、ねじ機構の潤滑状態が、好適に維持され得るものを提供する。【解決手段】 電動制動装置は、「摩擦部材を回転部材に押圧し、内周にピストン内周面を有するピストン」と、「電気モータによって回転駆動され、外周にピストン内周面と軸方向にオーバラップするシャフト外周面を有し、内周にシャフト内周面を有するシャフト」と、「シャフトの回転運動をピストンの直線運動に変換し、シャフト内周面の内側に配置されるねじ機構」と、「ピストン内周面に外周で摺接する外周シール、及び、シャフト外周面に内周で摺接する内周シールを有し、軸方向に移動可能なキャップ」と、「キャップ、ねじ機構の一方端、ピストン内周面、及び、シャフト外周面によって区画され、ねじ機構を潤滑する潤滑剤が充填される貯蔵室」と、を備える。そして、外周シールと内周シールとは、軸方向において、所定距離だけ離れている。【選択図】図3
