To provide a movable platform fence whose door is allowed to open, only when cars stop on a track facing to the movable platform fence, even if the number of cars constituting a train and the stop position of a first car are changed.SOLUTION: Movable platform fences 1a, 1b comprise: stationary parts 4 which are fixed on a platform 2; door bodies 6a, 6b which are movably supported by the stationary parts 4 and open or close a getting-in/out passage; a laser sensor 7 which detects the presence/absence of cars on the track facing to the getting-in/out passage. Moreover, the movable platform fences 1a, 1b have a control device 8 which permits the opening of the getting-in/out passage when the laser sensor 7 detects the presence of cars.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
