To provide a webbing winding device which can suppress displacement of a cover component to outside of energization diameter direction by load from inside of the cover component.SOLUTION: In a webbing winding device, a cover component 54 is arranged inside of a second peripheral wall 40 of a second housing component 28. Because an external surface of a third peripheral wall 58 of the cover component 54 and an internal surface of the second peripheral wall 40 of the second housing component 28 face to an energization diameter direction that is a radius of gyration direction of rotation energization power of a power spring 50, the displacement of the cover component 54 to outside of the energization diameter direction can be suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3B

    【課題】カバー部材の内側からの荷重によるカバー部材の付勢径方向の外側への変位を抑制できるウェビング巻取装置を得る。【解決手段】本ウェビング巻取装置では、カバー部材54が第2収容部材28の第2周壁40の内側に配置される。これによって、カバー部材54の第3周壁58の外側面と、第2収容部材28の第2周壁40の内側面とがぜんまいばね50の回転付勢力の回転半径方向である付勢径方向に対向されるため、カバー部材54の付勢径方向外側への変位を抑制できる。【選択図】図3B
