To provide a wired/wireless composite communication system and wired/wireless composite communication method, capable of appropriately transmitting/receiving various types of communication data between communication apparatuses installed in a vehicle using wired/wireless composite communication.SOLUTION: A wired/wireless composite communication system and wired/wireless composite communication method perform control so that wired communication is used for communication data of a type having high priority of types of communication data transmitted/received between communication apparatuses installed in a vehicle and wireless communication is used for communication data of a type having low priority. Specifically, wired communication data and wireless communication data obtained by performing division on the basis of priority determined for each type of the communication data are independently transmitted using wired communication and wireless communication, respectively.
