To provide a vehicle driving force control method by which an estimation possible area of a maximum road surface μ having a high accuracy can be enlarged.SOLUTION: This invention comprises: a first estimation part 21 which estimates a maximum road surface μbased on a driving stiffness D corresponding a slip ratio S and a driving force F in a first operational state that a vehicle directly advances at a steady acceleration; a second estimation part 22 which estimates a maximum road surface μbased on a steering reaction force Fst in the case except the first operational state and in a second operational state that a vehicle is steered; a third estimation part 23 which estimates a predetermined maximum road surface μin the case except the first and second operational states and in a third operational state that an ambient temperature is a determination temperature or higher; and a driving force distribution part 24 which controls a driving force by use of the estimated maximum road surface μ.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
