To provide an electric booster device that has its structure simplified and is thus suppressed from rising in costs.SOLUTION: An electric booster device 1 according to the present invention has movement quantity detection means 53 for detecting a movement quantity of an input rod 50 and an input rack 51 moving in a gear housing 41 as a brake pedal 40 is operated, and the movement quantity detection means 53 comprises a first rotation member 131 which rotates as the input rod 50 and input rack 51 move, and comprises a first magnet member 141, and a first magnetic detection element 134 which detects an angle of rotation of the first rotation member 131. Consequently, the first magnet member 141 and first magnetic detection element 134 can be arranged outside the gear housing 41, and consequently the structure can be simplified to suppress a rise in costs.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
