To provide a vehicle seat of which a resonant frequency of a seat pad can be changed without changing a foam itself which constitutes the seat pad, and a vehicle seat controlling method.SOLUTION: The vehicle seat 1 comprises a seat pad 2, and a suction machine 170. The seat pad has a foam 140, and a bag body 130 which covers the foam. The seat comprises a packaging pad body 150.
