To provide a marine propeller configured by inserting the base part of a blade into the groove of a boss and without a stress concentration nearby the corner where the side surface and bottom surface of a groove intersect.SOLUTION: The marine propeller comprises the boss 2 having the outer peripheral surface 2s on which the groove part 21 is formed and the blade 3 at the base end side of which the base part 31 is formed, and is configured by inserting the base part 31 of the blade 3 into the groove part 21 of the boss 2, and comprises the retainer 4 attached to the one end side of the boss 2 and to become the pull-out prevention of the blade 3. The external fitting part 44 of the retainer 4 along with the boss 2 is fit in the base part 31 of the blade 3 so as to cover it and restraints the base part 31 to tend to bend radially outward.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
