To provide a failure diagnosis system and a failure diagnosis method each of which enables failure of an optical axis sensor installed in an elevator door to be quickly and highly accurately recognized.SOLUTION: The failure diagnosis system for an optical axis sensor installed in an elevator door according to an embodiment comprises: an optical axis sensor that determines presence or absence of a foreign object by sensing between the elevator doors in the left-right direction; an up-down direction door sensor that determines presence or absence of a foreign object by sensing in the vertical direction, an imaging determination door sensor that determines presence or absence of a foreign object by analyzing imaging information obtained by photographing between doors; and a failure diagnosis unit. The failure diagnosis unit diagnoses that the optical axis sensor may be broken when only the determination result of the presence or absence of a foreign object between the doors by the optical axis sensor is different from the determination results of the other two sensors.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】 エレベータのドアに設置された光軸センサの故障を迅速に高い精度で認識することが可能な故障診断システムおよび故障診断方法を提供する。【解決手段】 実施形態によればエレベータドアに設置された光軸センサの故障診断システムは、エレベータのドア間を左右方向にセンシングして異物の有無を判定する光軸センサと、上下方向にセンシングして異物の有無を判定する上下方向ドアセンサと、ドア間を撮影した撮像情報を解析して異物の有無を判定する撮像判定ドアセンサと、故障診断部とを備える。故障診断部は、光軸センサによるドア間の異物の有無の判定結果のみが他の2つのセンサの判定結果と異なる場合に、光軸センサが故障している可能性があると診断する。【選択図】図1
