To provide a hybrid vehicle on which a secondary battery is mounted, capable of suppressing discomfort following to execution of a high rate deterioration suppression control.SOLUTION: A vehicle 1 comprises: an engine 11; a motor generator 14; a battery 50; and an ECU 100. The ECU 100 calculates an evaluation value ΣD indicating a progress degree of deterioration of the battery 50 caused by deviation of salt density in the battery 50, then, if it is evaluated that, the battery 50 is deteriorated based on the evaluation value ΣD, executes a high rate deterioration suppression control for increasing a target SOC of the battery 50. The ECU 100 also increases the target SOC when an actual SOC is increased following to power generation of the motor generator 14, in execution of the high rate deterioration suppression control.     【課題】二次電池が搭載されたハイブリッド車両において、ハイレート劣化抑制制御の実行に伴う違和感の発生を抑制する。【解決手段】車両1は、エンジン11と、モータジェネレータ14と、バッテリ50と、ECU100とを備える。ECU100は、バッテリ50内の塩濃度の偏りに起因するバッテリ50の劣化の進行度合いを示す評価値ΣDを算出し、評価値ΣDによりバッテリ50が劣化していると評価された場合に、バッテリ50の目標SOCを引き上げるハイレート劣化抑制制御を実行する。ECU100は、ハイレート劣化抑制制御を実行中である場合に、モータジェネレータ14の発電に伴い実SOCが上昇するときにも目標SOCを引き上げる。引き上げ後の目標SOCは、上昇後の実SOCよりも低い。【選択図】図10
