To make it possible to grasp credibility of clock information certainly when failure is caused.SOLUTION: A failure diagnostic device 10 comprises a time acquisition part 11 which acquires the clock information concerning time when the failure is caused and a control part 12 which manages diagnostic data concerning failure and the clock information received from the time acquisition part 11 together when an accident of a vehicle is detected. The time acquisition part 11 acquires history information showing either automatic correction based upon the clock information received from a GPS satellite 6 being performed or correction being performed on the basis of the clock information which a user sets arbitrarily. The credibility of the clock information is high in a case on the basis of the clock information received from the GPS satellite 6. The credibility of the clock information is low in a case on the basis of the clock information which the user sets arbitrarily.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】故障が発生したときの時計情報の信憑性を確実に把握できるようにする。【解決手段】故障診断装置10は、故障が発生したときの時刻に関する時計情報を取得する時刻取得部11と、車両の故障が検出されたとき、故障に関する診断データとともに時刻取得部11から受け取った時計情報を管理する制御部12とを備えている。時刻取得部11は、GPS衛星6から受信した時計情報に基づく自動補正が行われたこと、あるいはユーザが任意に設定した時計情報に基づいて補正が行われたことのいずれかであることを示す履歴情報を取得する。GPS衛星6から受信した時計情報に基づく場合、時計情報の信憑性が高い。ユーザが任意に設定した時計情報に基づく場合、時計情報の信憑性は低い。【選択図】図1
