To restrain output voltage drop of an auxiliary power unit at the time of low temperature.SOLUTION: Maximum charge voltage VMAX is set according to the capacitor temperature TC, so as to become higher voltage when the capacitor temperature TC goes below a default low temperature determination temperature T1 than that when the capacitor temperature TC goes above the low temperature determination temperature T1. When the operation state of an auxiliary power unit is in state of charge for charging a capacitor by power supply from an on-vehicle battery, and the charge voltage of the capacitor goes above the maximum charge voltage VMAX, operation state of an auxiliary power unit is switched to holding state for holding the electric charges of the capacitor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5

    【課題】低温時の補助電源装置の出力電圧の低下を抑える。【解決手段】キャパシタ温度TCが既定の低温判定温度T1以下のときには、キャパシタ温度TCが低温判定温度T1を超えるときよりも高い電圧となるように、キャパシタ温度TCに応じて最大充電電圧VMAXを設定する。そして、補助電源装置の動作状態が、車載バッテリからの給電によりキャパシタに電荷を充電する充電状態にあるときに、キャパシタの充電電圧が最大充電電圧VMAX以上となったときに、キャパシタに充電した電荷を保持する保持状態へ補助電源装置の動作状態を切り替える。【選択図】図5
