To provide a floating body device which can satisfactorily grasp a position on a water passage, and can equally maintain a distance between right and left wall surfaces of a water passage.SOLUTION: A configuration of a floating body device 100 performs inspection while flowing through a water passage includes a floating body 110 floating on the water surface of the water passage, a parachute 120 which is connected to the floating body 110 and has a resistance received by water larger than that of the floating body 110, and one or more sensor devices (cameras 140) mounted on the floating body 110, and satisfactorily grasps a position on the water passage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
