To provide a method and a device for accurately determining uneven abrasion in a circumferential direction of a pneumatic tire.SOLUTION: The method for determining uneven abrasion in a circumferential direction of a pneumatic tire includes the steps of: rotating a tire 1 at a predetermined number of rotations; measuring the sound pressure of a pattern noise; comparing the measured sound pressure and the sound pressure when the tire was new when the pattern noise is generated N times regularly in each rotation of the tire 1 in a specific frequency N times as large as the predetermined number of rotations; and determining that there is an abrasion in the tire if the measured sound pressure is larger than the sound pressure when the tire was new by at least a predetermined value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】空気入りタイヤの周方向偏摩耗の判定方法および装置において、正確に周方向偏摩耗の発生の有無を判定する。【解決手段】空気入りタイヤの周方向偏摩耗の判定方法は、タイヤ1を所定回転数で転動させ、パターンノイズの音圧を測定し、パターンノイズがタイヤ1の1回転当たりに規則的にN回発せられるとき、前記所定回転数をN倍した特定周波数において、測定した音圧と、新品時の音圧とを比較し、測定した音圧が新品時の音圧よりも所定以上大きければ摩耗していると判定する。【選択図】図1
