To provide a collision preventive device capable of more surely suppressing the collision of a cargo.SOLUTION: The collision preventive device is used for a crane having a movable unit that is movable in a horizontal direction, a support mechanism that is suspended from the movable unit via a hoisting rope to support a cargo, and a main device for controlling the movement of the movable unit and the winding-up and the winding-down of the support mechanism done by the hoisting rope. The collision preventive device includes a sensor that detects an obstacle existing in a moving direction of the support mechanism and detects a distance to the obstacle from the support mechanism in the moving direction and a control unit that receives information of the distance to the obstacle from the sensor, receives information of length of the hoisting rope, information of the moving speed of the movable unit, and information of a position of the movable unit from the main device, calculates a deceleration start position at which the deceleration of the movable unit is started based on each information, and outputs a deceleration command to the main device in response to the fact that the movable unit reaches the deceleration start position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
