To provide an intersection non-stop travel control method having stable and effective congestion reduction effect, energy-saving effect and global warming gas discharge reduction effect.SOLUTION: An intermediate point H is set at a spot at an intersection upstream distance (D/2) for a vehicle which arrives at and passes a specific point P at an intersection upstream distance D at a time tp during an intersection signal cycle Ts at a speed vp within a range of an average speed vmin to vmax and approaches an intersection A so that the vehicle arrives at the intersection A at a time ta during an intersection blue signal period Tg at the speed vp (which is same as the speed arriving at and passing the specific point P), and thus, constant acceleration/deceleration travel from the specific point P to the intermediate point H at an average speed vpa and at acceleration/deceleration α1, and constant acceleration/deceleration travel from the intermediate point H to the intersection A at the average speed vpa and at acceleration/deceleration α2 are performed. 【課題】安定で有効な渋滞軽減効果、省エネルギー効果および地球温暖化ガス排出削減効果、を有する交差点無停止走行制御方法を提案する。【解決手段】交差点上流距離Dの特定地点Pを交差点信号周期Tsの間の時刻tpに平均速度vmin 〜vmax の範囲内の速度vpで到達・通過して交差点Aに向かう車両に対し、交差点Aに交差点青信号期間Tgの間の時刻taに(特定地点Pに到達・通過する速度と同一)速度vpで到達させるべく、交差点上流距離(D/2)の地点に中間点Hを設定し、特定地点Pから中間点Hへの平均速度vpa、加・減速度α1、での等加・減速度走行、および中間点Hから交差点Aへの平均速度vpa、加・減速度α2、での等加・減速度走行、を行う。但し、vpa=D/(ta−tp)、vh:中間点到達・通過速度、α1=(vh−vp )/{(ta−tp)/2}、α2=(vp−vh )/{(ta−tp)/2}である。【選択図】図1
