To provide a charging controller capable of efficiently charging a battery mounted on a vehicle by using a charger installed outside a vehicle.SOLUTION: A charging controller controls charging processing for charging a battery mounted on a vehicle by connecting a charging connector of a charger installed outside a vehicle to a charging inlet of the vehicle, and includes control means that determines whether a cooling mechanism of the charging connector is provided on a charger side or not before starting the charging processing, makes a cooling mechanism for the charging connector operated when the cooling mechanism of the charging connector is provided, and makes a cooling mechanism of the charging inlet provided on the vehicle side operated when the cooling mechanism of the charging connector is not provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】車両の外部に設置された充電器を利用して車両に搭載されている電池を効率的に充電可能な充電制御装置を提供すること。【解決手段】本発明に係る充電制御装置は、車両の外部に設置された充電器の充電コネクタを車両の充電インレットに接続して車両に搭載されている電池を充電する充電処理を制御する充電制御装置であって、充電処理を開始する前に、充電器側に充電コネクタの冷却機構が設けられているか否かを判別し、充電コネクタの冷却機構が設けられている場合、充電コネクタの冷却機構を作動させ、充電コネクタの冷却機構が設けられていない場合には、車両側に設けられている充電インレットの冷却機構を作動させる制御手段を備える。【選択図】図1
