To provide a driving system of an opening/closing body that has a tucking detection function and can increase a degree of freedom of control of a control part.SOLUTION: An imaging direction of an image pickup camera 23 is set to be a direction crossing a moving direction of a roof panel 11. When a shielding-state determining part 41b detects that a foreign matter passing/shielding state (gesture) showing passage of a foreign matter in a prescribed range of a part 30 to be imaged, at the time of stopping the roof panel 11, a control part 40 activates the roof panel 11. When the shielding-state determining part 41b detects a shielding state by a foreign matter including the foreign matter passing/shielding state, at the time of activating the roof panel 11, the control part 40 stops the activation of the roof panel 11. This allows the roof panel 11 to be opened and closed by the gesture of an operator, which can increase a degree of freedom of control of the control part 40 while having a tucking detection function.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】挟み込み検知機能を備えつつ、制御部の制御自由度を高めることが可能な開閉体の駆動装置を提供する。【解決手段】撮像カメラ23の撮像方向が、ルーフパネル11の移動方向と交差する方向であって、遮蔽状態判定部41bが、ルーフパネル11の停止時において、撮像対象部30の所定の範囲を異物が通過したことを示す異物通過遮蔽状態(ジェスチャー)を検出すると、制御部40はルーフパネル11を動作させ、遮蔽状態判定部41bが、ルーフパネル11の動作時において、異物通過遮蔽状態を含む異物による遮蔽状態を検出すると、制御部40はルーフパネル11の動作を停止させる。これにより、操作者のジェスチャーによって、ルーフパネル11を開閉させることが可能となる。よって、挟み込み検知機能を備えつつ、制御部40の制御自由度を高めることが可能となる。【選択図】図1
