To provide an on-vehicle device capable of highly accurately stopping a vehicle at a target final parking position by considering response delay of braking means.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle device 400 includes: a braking period prediction section 410 for predicting a predicted braking period that is a prediction value of a braking period from start of the operation of a braking device for stopping a vehicle at a target parking position to stop of the vehicle; a predicted response delay period storage section 420 for storing a predicted response delay period that is a prediction value of a response delay period from issuance of a braking instruction to the braking device until the braking device starts to operate; a first determination section 430 for determining timing of issuing the braking instruction to the braking device; and an output section 450 for outputting a braking command for issuing the braking instruction to the braking device at the timing determined by the first determination section 430.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
