To properly determine a steering-wheel holding state of a driver on the basis of steering torque.SOLUTION: A steering-wheel hold determination device 50A comprises: a torque recognition part 14 for recognizing steering torque on the basis of a detection result of a torque sensor 5 arranged at a steering shaft; a contact state recognition part 15A for recognizing a contact state that the contact of the driver with a steering wheel is detected, or a non-contact state that the contact is not detected on the basis of a detection state of a touch sensor 6 arranged at the steering wheel; a threshold setting part 16A for setting a first threshold for use in a determination of a steering-wheel holding state on the basis of a recognition result of the contact state recognition part 15A; and a steering-wheel hold determination part 17 for determining that the driver is in the steering-wheel holding state when the steering torque reaches the first threshold or higher. When the non-contact state is recognized by the contact state recognition part 15A, the threshold setting part 16A sets the first threshold as a large value compared with the case that the contact state is recognized by the contact state recognition part 15A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】ステアトルクに基づいてドライバの保舵状態を適切に判定する。【解決手段】保舵判定装置50Aは、ステアリングシャフトに設けられたトルクセンサ5の検出結果に基づいてステアトルクを認識するトルク認識部14と、ステアリングホイールに設けられたタッチセンサ6の検出結果に基づいて、ドライバによるステアリングホイールへの接触が検出された接触状態、又は、接触が検出されない非接触状態を認識する接触状態認識部15Aと、接触状態認識部15Aの認識結果に基づいて保舵状態の判定に用いる第1閾値を設定する閾値設定部16Aと、ステアトルクが第1閾値以上となった場合、ドライバが保舵状態であると判定する保舵判定部17と、を備える。閾値設定部16Aは、接触状態認識部15Aにより非接触状態が認識されている場合、接触状態認識部15Aにより接触状態が認識されている場合と比べて大きい値として第1閾値を設定する。【選択図】図1
