To suppress the erroneous detection of a substance by a sensor, in a vehicle rear device having a rear bumper R/F arranged at a vehicle rear part and the sensor for determination the substance.SOLUTION: A rear bumper R/F 10 is a member arranged at a vehicle rear part while extending in a vehicle width direction, and forming a hollow part therein while being opened at both end parts in the vehicle width direction. A left side sensor 18L is arranged in a position in which an electric wave or an ultrasonic wave radiated from the left side sensor 18L can intrude into the rear bumper R/F 10 via an opening 16L of a left side end part 12L. Similarly, a right side sensor 18R is arranged in a position in which an electric wave or an ultrasonic wave radiated from the right side sensor 18R can intrude into the rear bumper R/F 10 via an opening 16R of a right side end part 12R. A shielding member 14 is arranged at the left side end part 12L, and the electric wave or the ultrasonic wave radiated from the left side sensor 18L, and capable of intruding into the rear bumper R/F 10 can be shielded by the shielding member 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】車両後部に設けられたリアバンパR/Fと物体を検知するセンサとを有する車両後部装置において、センサによる物体の誤検知を防止する。【解決手段】リアバンパR/F10は、車両後部において車幅方向に延在して設けられ、車幅方向の両端部が開口しつつ内部に空洞を形成する部材である。左側センサ18Lは、左側センサ18Lから照射された電波又は超音波が左側端部12Lの開口16Lを介してリアバンパR/F10内に進入し得る位置に配置されている。同様に、右側センサ18Rは、右側センサ18Rから照射された電波又は超音波が右側端部12Rの開口16Rを介してリアバンパR/F10内に進入し得る位置に配置されている。左側端部12Lには遮蔽部材14が設けられており、その遮蔽部材14によって、左側センサ18Lから照射されてリアバンパR/F10内へ進入し得る電波又は超音波が遮られる。【選択図】図3
