To provide an occupant position estimation system capable of estimating the position of an occupant without using all portable machines carried by the occupant.SOLUTION: In a vehicular system 100, a vehicle side communication machine 20 includes: a communication section 22 which mutually communicates with the communication machine; and a control section 23 which functions as a detection section for detecting a RSSI value to be reception intensity of a received transmission signal. A plurality of vehicle side communication machines 20 are mounted so as to pass a seat 42 by any one of a plurality of virtual straight lines L so that the plurality of vehicle side communication machines 20 can detect the presence or absence of an occupant 43. An estimation section 34 estimates the presence or absence of the occupant 43 between the vehicle side communication machines 20 receiving radio waves from a radio wave transmission source using the RSSI value. Accordingly, the position of the occupant 43 is estimated without using a portable machine 10 of the occupant 43.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
