To provide a power transmission shaft which can align a connection part and a connection member when manufacturing, and can improve a rotational balance.SOLUTION: A power transmission shaft 1 comprises: a cylindrical body part 10 with an axis O1 as a center; a first connection mart 20 which is continuous with the body part 10; and a stub yoke 3 (connection member) which is joined to the first connection part 20. The body part 10 and the first connection part 20 are a shell 2 made of a fiber-reinforced plastic, and the stub yoke 3 is fitted in the first connection part 20. Plural recesses 53 are formed on an outer peripheral surface 51b of the stub yoke 3, and plural protrusions 21, which are respectively inserted in each recess 53, are formed on an inner peripheral surface 20a of the first connection part 20. A thermal expansion coefficient of the first connection part 20 is higher than a thermal expansion coefficient of the stub yoke 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】製造時に接続部と連結部材とを容易に調心することができ、回転バランスを良くできる動力伝達軸を提供する。【解決手段】動力伝達軸1であって、軸線O1を中心とする筒状の本体部10と、本体部10に連続している第一接続部20と、第一接続部20に接合されたスタブヨーク3(連結部材)と、を備えている。本体部10及び第一接続部20は、繊維強化プラスチック製の管体2であり、第一接続部20にスタブヨーク3が嵌め込まれている。スタブヨーク3の外周面51bには、複数の凹部53が形成されるとともに、第一接続部20の内周面20aには、各凹部53にそれぞれ挿入された複数の凸部21が形成されている。第一接続部20の熱膨張率は、スタブヨーク3の熱膨張率よりも高くなっている。【選択図】図2
