To make a voltage of an auxiliary power supply hardly get lower than a minimum voltage for operation of a hydraulic brake system when a main power supply is abnormal.SOLUTION: In a hydraulic brake system, a pump motor is operated regardless of existence of braking requirement when a main power supply has abnormality where power cannot be supplied to the pump motor and the like. In this manner, an opportunity when a rush current flows is reduced when the main power supply is abnormal stated above. As a result, the voltage of an auxiliary power supply hardly gets lower than a minimum voltage for operation of the system, and the operation of the hydraulic brake system hardly becomes impossible.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5

    【課題】本発明の課題は、主電源の異常時に、補助電源の電圧が当該液圧ブレーキシステムの作動最低電圧より低くなり難くすることである。【解決手段】本発明に係る液圧ブレーキシステムにおいて、主電源が、電力をポンプモータ等に供給不能な異常である場合には、制動要求の有無に関係なく、ポンプモータが作動させられる。このように、主電源が上述の異常である場合に、突入電流が流れる機会が少なくなる。その結果、補助電源の電圧が作動最低電圧より低くなり難くすることができ、液圧ブレーキシステムが作動不能となり難くすることができる。【選択図】図5
