To obtain an optimum fuel efficiency effect in all vehicles traveling in platoon by operating an air resistance reduction device of a vehicle in front so that a fuel efficiency effect of a following vehicle traveling in platoon is optimized.SOLUTION: A vehicle air resistance reduction control system comprises a plurality of vehicles that perform platooning and a server that communicates with the plurality of vehicles, wherein: each of the plurality of vehicles is comprised of: an air resistance reduction device, a sensor, a wireless transmitter, a wireless receiver, and a control unit; and the server is comprised of: a receiving unit that receives a parameter wirelessly transmitted from the wireless transmitter; a generation unit that generates control information for operating the air resistance reducing device of each of the vehicles in front so that a value of each of the parameters received by the receiving unit becomes a minimum value when the plurality of vehicles are traveling in a platoon; and a transmitting unit that transmits the control information generated by the generation unit to each of the plurality of vehicles.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
