To provide a low-cost, compact electronic control device that can grasp a system state without occurrence of resetting even if a power source voltage drops to 5 V or lower.SOLUTION: An electronic control device 10 operates with a voltage supplied from a battery BT, and comprises a first voltage generation circuit 1 which uses the voltage supplied from the battery to generate a first voltage V1, and a CPU 9 which operates with the first voltage. The CPU has a second voltage generation circuit 2 which uses the first voltage to generate a second voltage V2, an A/D conversion circuit 4 which receives the first voltage as a reference voltage, and a CPU core 3 which operates with the second voltage, which is lower than the first voltage. The A/D conversion circuit converts the second voltage to a second voltage digital value, and the CPU core monitors the second voltage digital value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
