To provide a parking brake mechanism for a service vehicle which achieves improvement of operability of an operation part.SOLUTION: A parking brake mechanism for a service vehicle includes: an engagement part 160 which may rotate around a predetermined rotary shaft (a brake shaft 31) in conjunction with a brake pedal 20 and has teeth 161 arranged on an arc C centered on the rotary shaft; a holding part 130 which engages with the teeth 161 to hold the brake pedal 20; and an operation part 150 which may move the holding part 130 to a position where the holding part 130 can engage with the teeth 161.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
