To provide a vehicle progress status estimating system, a vehicle progress status estimating method and a vehicle progress status estimating program which, when a vehicle is automatically driven in a parking lot, heighten the accuracy of estimating the position and progress bearing of the vehicle and facilitate the automatic driving of the vehicle in the parking lot.SOLUTION: In a vehicle progress status estimating system 100, an image recognition unit 25 of a vehicle control device 20 recognizes a ground feature included in surrounding information of a vehicle while being temporarily stopped in front a point where a travel route and an other road intersect, as an under-suspension target ground feature. An estimation unit 23 finds the relative position of the under-suspension target ground feature to the vehicle as a real relative position and executes an under-suspension estimation process of estimating the progress bearing of the vehicle on the basis of the real relative position and ground feature information with respect to the under-suspension target ground feature.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】駐車場内で車両の自動走行を行う場合において、当該車両の位置及び進行方位の推定精度を高め、駐車場内における車両の自動走行を円滑に行わせる車両進行状態推定システム、車両進行状態推定方法及び車両進行状態推定プログラムを提供する。【解決手段】車両進行状態推定システム100において、車両制御装置20の画像認識部25は、走行経路と他の道路とが交差する地点の手前において一時停止中の車両の周辺情報中に含まれる地物を停止中対象地物として認識する。推定部23は、車両に対する停止中対象地物の相対位置を実相対位置として求めると共に、当該実相対位置と停止中対象地物についての地物情報とに基づいて、車両の進行方位を推定する停止中推定処理を実行する。【選択図】図2
