To provide a vehicle body lower part structure that can improve support rigidity of a front portion of a trailing arm by improvement of rigidity of a U-shaped portion without increasing the weight and that can prevent the U-shaped portion from being deformed and opened.SOLUTION: A vehicle body lower part structure includes a pair of left and right rear side frames 20 extending in the vehicle front to back direction, and U-shaped portions 60 each connected to a lower part of each of the rear side frames 20, formed of an outer wall portion 61, an inner wall portion, and a front wall portion, opened to the rear side as viewed from the bottom, and supporting on the inner and outer wall portions with a support pin 51 a front portion of a trailing arm 42 of a rear suspension 40. The U-shaped portion 60 is configured such that the outer wall portion 61 is formed of a side sill inner 9 and the front wall portion and the inner wall portion are formed of a bracket thicker than the side sill inner 9.
