To provide an upper body structure of a vehicle capable of inhibiting vibrations occurring during traveling of the vehicle.SOLUTION: An upper body structure includes roof side rails of a vehicle, pillars each extending downward from a middle of the roof side rail in the fore-and-aft direction of the vehicle body, and roof rail reinforces 13 each of which partitions an internal space in the middle of the roof side rail in the fore-and-aft direction of the vehicle body in the fore-and-aft direction and a vehicle width direction. The roof side rail includes a roof rail outer piece 11 and a roof rail inner piece that forms a closed section in collaboration with the roof rail outer piece. The pillar includes a pillar outer pieces, and a pillar inner piece 5b that forms a closed section, which extends in a vertical direction, in collaboration with the pillar outer piece. The front and rear ends of the roof rail reinforce are bent outside in the vehicle width direction and fixed to the roof rail outer piece. First adhesive members 15a having a vibration damper feature are disposed near the front and rear ends respectively in an effort to couple the part between the front and rear ends to the roof rail inner piece joined to the pillar inner piece.
