To provide a vibration control system using a runaway prevention device of a track running-type machine capable of efficiently absorbing impact of rocking phenomenon during an earthquake by modifying an existing device, and capable of reducing cost.SOLUTION: A vibration control system comprises a runaway prevention device 40 including: a running gear 8 on which rotatable running wheels 7 are arranged along a rail 4; a fluid pressure cylinder 13 which freely presses/separates a brake pad 12 in a direction orthogonal to the rail 4 against/from a running wheel rolling surface 4a of the rail 4; and a fluid pressure unit 14 which guides working fluid to the fluid pressure cylinder 13 and presses the brake pad 12 against the running wheel rolling surface 4a of the rail 4. Furthermore, the vibration control system comprises a fluid pressure shock absorber installed between the fluid pressure cylinder 13 and the fluid pressure unit 14 to absorb the landing shock after the running gear 8 is lifted when an earthquake occurs.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
