To provide a main rope swing suppression device that can efficiently suppress the swing of a main rope.SOLUTION: A main rope swing suppression device 30 suppresses swing of a car side main rope group 12A by pulling of a connector 34 attached to the car side main rope group 12A via a swing-suppressing rope 52 when a swing occurs in the car side main rope group 12A. The main rope swing suppression device comprises the connector 34 attached to the car side main rope group 12A above the car 14; a first pulley 44 supported at a same height as the connector 34; and an actuator 48 that suppresses the swing of the car side main rope group 12A by pulling of the first swing-suppressing rope 52 that is connected to the connector 34 and bridged to the first pulley 44.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】主ロープの振れを効率よく抑制することができる主ロープの振れ抑制装置を提供する。【解決手段】主ロープの振れ抑制装置30は、かご側主ロープ群12Aに振れが生じたときに、かご側主ロープ群12Aに取り付けられた連結具34を振れ抑制用ロープ52で引っ張ることによりかご側主ロープ群12Aの振れを抑制するものであり、乗りかご14上方のかご側主ロープ群12Aに取り付けられた連結具34と、連結具34と同じ高さ位置で支持された第1の滑車44と、連結具34に連結されるとともに第1の滑車44に架け渡された第1の振れ抑制用ロープ52を引っ張ることによりかご側主ロープ群12Aの振れを抑制するアクチュエータ48を備える。【選択図】図2
