To provide a seat structure of a vehicle, which can restrain a submarine phenomenon by a reusable deformation member, and a submarine restraining control method.SOLUTION: A seat structure 1 of a vehicle has a seating face part 2 constituted by covering a skeleton member 4 with a cushion member 5. In a lateral view of the vehicle, a deformation member 9 including an electrorheological fluid 8 is covered with the cushion member 5 in the state of being loaded on a front end 4a of the skeleton member 4.
