To provide a rubber composition for tires capable of improving wet grip properties and grip sustainability of a tire in a well-balanced manner.SOLUTION: The rubber composition for tires according to the present invention contains a diene rubber, silica, and a silane compound represented by the following formula (1). The diene rubber contains an aromatic vinyl-conjugated diene copolymer rubber. The average glass transition temperature of the diene rubber is -35°C or higher and -5°C or lower. The content of the silica is 200 pts.mass or more and 300 pts.mass or less based on 100 pts.mass of the diene rubber. The content of the silane compound is 0.5 pt.mass or more and 30 pts.mass or less based on 100 pts.mass of the silica.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
