To seal a gap between a window panel and a frame without requiring high precision regarding dimensional shapes of the window panel and the frame, and in assembling, and further, without enlarging a fixing member of a clamp or the like, or deteriorating workability when fitting the window panel to the frame.SOLUTION: A seal member 10 for a window of an aircraft is arranged between a seal surface 222 of a panel member 2 pressed from the inside of a machine against a pressed surface 322 of a frame 3, and the pressed surface 322, in order to seal a gap between the seal surface 222 and the pressed surface 322. The seal member 10 includes: a first part 101 corresponding to an end 322A of the pressed surface 322; a second part 102 corresponding to an end 222B of the seal surface 222; and a curved part 100 curved in a no-load state. The curved part 100 is curved in a direction of retreating from either the seal surface 222 or the pressed surface 322, across a gap between the first part 101 and the second part 102 at a cross section intersecting a circumferential direction of the seal member 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
