To provide a battery cooling system capable of speedily cooling a battery while preventing the same from being heated.SOLUTION: A battery cooling system 10 comprises: a cooling fan 20 which introduces air inside a vehicle into an intake passage and sends the same to a battery BT; and a control section 40 which controls the cooling fan 20 on the basis of an intake temperature Ta and a battery temperature Tb detected through an intake temperature sensor 30 and a battery temperature sensor 34 respectively. After operating the cooling fan 20 to send the air to the battery BT, the control section 40: performs a temperature check to calculate a difference value ΔTN obtained by subtracting the battery temperature Tb from the intake temperature Ta with the operation of the cooling fan 20 stopped; repeats the temperature check when the difference value ΔTN is larger than zero; and, in the succeeding temperature checks after the second temperature check, performs the next temperature check when the current difference value ΔTN is larger than zero and smaller than the latest difference value ΔTN-1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】バッテリの加熱を抑えながら、迅速にバッテリを冷却することができるバッテリ冷却システムを提供する。【解決手段】車室内の空気を吸気通路に取り込んでバッテリBTに送る冷却ファン20と、吸気温度センサ30及びバッテリ温度センサ34による吸気温度Ta及びバッテリ温度Tbに基づいて、冷却ファン20を制御する制御部40と、を備えたバッテリ冷却システム10。制御部40は、冷却ファン20を作動させてバッテリBTに空気を送った後、冷却ファン20を停止して吸気温度Taからバッテリ温度Tbを差し引いた差分値ΔTNを算出する温度チェック動作を行い、差分値ΔTNが零よりも大きい場合に、前記温度チェック動作を繰り返し、前記制御部は、2回目以降の前記温度チェック動作において、差分値ΔTNが零よりも大きく、且つ、前回の差分値ΔTN−1よりも今回の差分値ΔTNが小さい場合に、次回の前記温度チェック動作を行う。【選択図】図1
