To perform an accident forecast with high accuracy even for a road with large installation intervals of sensors.SOLUTION: In an accident forecast system in an embodiment, a table creation processing part for an accident forecast creates a table for the accident forecast representing an accident occurrence degree for every traffic situation based on predetermined learning algorithm by using at least past traffic data regarding a vehicle, and past accident data for a predetermined spot on a road. A traffic data acquisition processing part acquires present traffic data from sensors which measure traffic situations. A traffic situation estimation processing part sets an estimation spot where the traffic situations are desired to be estimated on the road, and estimates the traffic situations at the estimation spot based on a ratio of each distance from a plurality of predetermined sensors to the estimation spot by using the present traffic data acquired from the plurality of predetermined sensors. An accident forecast processing part forecasts the accident occurrence degree by using the traffic situations estimated by the traffic situation estimation processing part, and the table for the accident forecast for the estimation spot.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】センサの設置間隔が大きい道路についても高精度で事故予報を行うこと。【解決手段】実施形態における事故予報システムにおいて、事故予報用テーブル作成処理部は、道路における所定の地点について、少なくとも、車両に関する過去交通データ、および、過去事故データを用いて、所定の学習アルゴリズムに基づいて、交通状況ごとの事故発生度を表す事故予報用テーブルを作成する。交通データ取得処理部は、交通状況を計測するセンサから現在交通データを取得する。交通状況推定処理部は、道路で交通状況を推定したい推定地点を設定し、所定の複数のセンサから取得した現在交通データを用いて、所定の複数のセンサから推定地点までのそれぞれの距離の比に基づいて、推定地点の交通状況を推定する。事故予報処理部は、推定地点について、交通状況推定処理部によって推定された交通状況、および、事故予報用テーブルを用いて、事故発生度を予報する。【選択図】図1
