To provide a bumper reinforce which has a mechanical strength corresponding to various collision modes and is made of a synthetic resin.SOLUTION: In a bumper reinforce 10, when a fragile part 44 is deformed in head-on collision of a vehicle, a first extension part 40 and a second extension part 42 are abutted to a radiator support on a vehicle rear side. A mechanical strength of the first extension part 40 is a strength durable against a collision load in an off-set collision test. A mechanical strength of the second extension part 42 is a strength durable against a load based on a rotation moment generated in a body base part 14 when the collision load is input to the body base part 14 in a full lap head-on collision test.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】各種衝突モードに対応する機械的強度を有する合成樹脂製のバンパリインフォースを得る。【解決手段】本バンパリインフォース10において車両の前面衝突時に脆弱部44に変形が生じると、第1延出部40及び第2延出部42が車両後側のラジエータサポートへ当接される。ここで、第1延出部40の機械的強度は、オフセット衝突試験での衝突荷重に耐える強度とされる。また、第2延出部42の機械的強度は、フルラップ前面衝突試験で本体基部14に衝突荷重が入力された際に本体基部14に生じた回転モーメントに基づく荷重に耐える強度とされる。【選択図】図1
