To reduce transfer of information which is unnecessary for a driver of a vehicle at a transfer destination.SOLUTION: A communication device 10 which is mounted in a first vehicle comprises: a communication unit 13 for performing radio communications with a communication device which is mounted in a vehicle other than the first vehicle; and a control unit 11 by which, when event information which is transferred from a communication device mounted in a second vehicle different from the first vehicle, indicating occurrence of an event is received by the communication unit 13, a situation of a third vehicle different from the first vehicle and the second vehicle is determined and on the basis of a result of the determination, it is decided whether or not the communication unit 13 is caused to transfer the event information to a communication device mounted in the third vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
