To provide a fixing mechanism of a rectifying fin for an underwater vehicle for smoothly attaching rectifying fins of different materials to an underwater vehicle to improve fluid performance.SOLUTION: A fixing mechanism of a rectifying fin 110 for an underwater vehicle is arranged between a rudder and a propulsion device, and comprises: a fiber-reinforced plastic rectifying fin arranged so as to project outward from a metal outer plate 103 of an underwater vehicle; a metal pedestal 20 fixed to the outer plate by welding; and a metal rod-shaped body 50 projecting from the inside of the rectifying fin inward of the outer plate and having a portion located inside the rectifying fin integrally molded with the rectifying fin. The outermost part of the outermost pedestal is arranged inward of the outer plate or to be flush with the outer plate. By fixing the rod-shaped body to the pedestal by a bolt 92 or welding, the rectifying fin is fixed to the outer plate via the rod-shaped body and the pedestal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
