To provide a stable, wave-durable, light and highly workable floating body for an offshore wind power generator.SOLUTION: A buoyancy chamber 2 is provided at a tower base about a tower 1 having a rotor 6 and a nacelle 7 mounted thereon, steel-pipe radial beams 3 are provided at the tower base in a horizontal direction, and a steel-pipe outer peripheral beam 4 for connecting the tips of the radial beams 3 is provided. Each of the buoyancy chamber 2 of the tower 1, the radial beams 3, and the outer peripheral beam 4 has a watertight structure and buoyancy. Flexible joints 10 are provided in the radial beams 3 and the outer peripheral beam 4 so as to deal with a wave situation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
